About the position
Core Medical Group is seeking a travel Outpatient Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Houston, Texas. This role involves providing therapy services to patients in an outpatient setting, with a focus on delivering high-quality care while traveling to various locations. Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient occupational therapy services to patients.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and home exercises.
Requirements
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience in outpatient therapy settings.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with specific patient populations (e.g., pediatrics, geriatrics).
- Bilingual skills.
