About The Position

The Registered Nurse position involves providing high-quality patient care in a healthcare setting for a 13-week assignment. The role requires expertise in cardiac telemetry and various nursing skills, with a focus on patient monitoring and management of dysrhythmias. The nurse will work a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week, primarily during the night.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Proficient in cardiac telemetry and remote monitoring.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown units.
• Familiarity with Epic charting system.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a telemetry unit.
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Manage peripheral lines and IV starts.
• Administer care pre and post cardiac catheterization.
• Implement isolation precautions as necessary.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
