Responsibilities

• Manage inpatient pharmacy operations including drug interactions and automation problem resolution.
• Maintain inventory by ordering and receiving medications, ensuring par levels are met and stock is rotated.
• Handle recalls, returns, and outdates of medications as per storage requirements.
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile products, including chemotherapy and IV mixtures, following aseptic techniques.
• Ensure compliance with labeling and packaging requirements for medications.
• Perform order entry processes accurately.

Requirements

• BLS certification required.
• State licensed as a Pharmacy Technician.
• At least one year of experience in an inpatient or acute care setting.
• Knowledge of drug interactions and automation processes.
• Ability to prepare sterile and non-sterile products.
