About the position
Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist to provide essential PT services in a skilled nursing facility in Salinas, California. This role involves assessing patients' mobility, strength, and function, developing treatment plans, and educating patients and their families to help them regain health and mobility. The position is a travel job with a duration of 13 weeks, requiring 40 hours of work per week.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility.
- Assess patients' mobility, strength, and function.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and recovery processes.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent experience in a skilled nursing setting.
- Degree in a relevant field.
- BLS Certification (AHA).
- Current state/compact license.
