About the position

Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Kilmarnock, Virginia. This role involves providing therapy services in a travel capacity, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care while adapting to various healthcare settings. The position offers a structured schedule of 40 hours per week, primarily during the day shift, and is ideal for both experienced therapists and new graduates looking to gain valuable experience in diverse environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients in accordance with established treatment plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises.
• Adhere to all safety and health regulations while providing care.

Requirements

• Must have a Doctorate level degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• 1 year of experience preferred, but new graduates will be considered.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience with OCS, SCS, NDT, Lymphedema, and Women's Health preferred.
• Must hold a valid Virginia state license or be eligible for compact privilege.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a supervisory role or with specialized therapy techniques.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
