Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients in accordance with established treatment plans.
• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and quality of life.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary based on patient response.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and exercises to be performed at home.

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia or eligibility for licensure.
• Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in rehabilitation or acute care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with travel assignments in physical therapy.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
