About the position

Aureus Medical Group - Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 15-week assignment in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. This role involves providing therapy services in a hospital setting, focusing on evaluation and treatment of patients across various age ranges. The position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with a potential for weekend coverage on an infrequent basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in skilled (swing), acute care, and outpatient therapy, although these are not mandatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients of all age ranges in a hospital setting.
• Provide skilled (swing), acute care, and outpatient therapy services.
• Participate in a 1-day hospital orientation and a 1-day departmental orientation.

Requirements

• State License-Physical Therapist-West Virginia
• CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Experience in skilled (swing), acute care, and outpatient therapy (preferred but not required).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with ReDoc and Meditech Expanse information systems (training provided).
