Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients as directed by the supervising physical therapist.
• Assist patients in performing therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility and function.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the supervising therapist.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress notes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of Florida.
• Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in long-term care or rehabilitation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• BLS certification.
