Responsibilities
- Administer external beam radiation treatments as prescribed by the radiation oncologist.
- Perform 30-35 therapeutic radiation treatments and 3-5 CT simulations daily.
- Utilize Varian linear accelerators and other imaging systems such as ARIA and EPIC.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during radiation therapy sessions.
Requirements
- BLS (AHA) certification is required.
- ARRT (T) Radiation Therapist certification is mandatory.
- WV state license is required.
- Experience with Varian linear accelerators is crucial.
