About the position
Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist to provide essential cancer treatment using radiation therapy. This role involves working closely with radiation oncologists and the cancer care team in various healthcare settings, including hospitals and cancer centers. The therapist will utilize medical imaging, operate radiation equipment, deliver treatments, and offer support to patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Treat patients with cancer using radiation therapy.
- Work closely with radiation oncologists and the cancer care team.
- Use medical imaging and operate radiation equipment.
- Deliver radiation treatments to patients.
- Educate patients and their families about the treatment process.
- Provide moral support and healing for patients with cancer.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a radiation therapist.
- ARRT Certification.
- BLS Certification (AHA).
- Current state license (if applicable).
