About the position

Nomad Health is seeking an experienced Computed Tomography (CT) radiology technologist for a travel assignment in Taylorville, IL. As a travel radiologic technologist, you will provide essential imaging services to help diagnose and visualize various medical conditions, ensuring high-quality patient care throughout your assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, non-judgmental, non-discriminatory care to all patients, families, and staff.
• Monitor patient condition and assess needs during imaging procedures.
• Communicate and document all required details as per facility charting protocol.
• Utilize x-ray, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and/or fluoroscopy to assist in diagnosis.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols during imaging procedures.

Requirements

• At least one year of total experience as a radiology tech.
• An active individual state license and/or certification to practice as a radiologic technologist.
• An active credential issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Graduation from an accredited school within the discipline.
• Evidence of at least one year of Computed Tomography experience as a radiologic technologist within the last three years.
• Score at least 80% on all Nomad competency assessments.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in additional imaging modalities such as MRI or fluoroscopy.
• Previous travel experience as a radiologic technologist.
