About The Position

Nomad Health is seeking an experienced General Radiology Tech for a travel assignment in California. As a travel radiologic technologist, you will utilize various imaging technologies to assist in diagnosing and visualizing medical conditions, ensuring high-quality patient care throughout your assignments.

Requirements

• At least one year of total experience as a radiology tech.
• An active individual state license and/or certification to practice as a rad tech.
• An active credential issued by ARRT.
• Graduated from an accredited school within the discipline.
• Score at least 80% on all Nomad competency assessments.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in specialized modalities such as nuclear medicine, radiation therapy, or interventional radiology.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, non-judgmental, non-discriminatory care to all patients, families, and staff.
• Monitor patient condition and assess needs during imaging procedures.
• Communicate and document all required details as per facility charting protocol.
• Utilize x-ray, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and/or fluoroscopy to assist in diagnosis.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols during imaging procedures.
