About the position
Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technician to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in various healthcare settings. This role involves preparing patients for X-rays, operating X-ray technology, processing films, and managing patient records. The position offers opportunities for both long-term and short-term assignments, allowing for flexibility and adventure in the healthcare field.
Responsibilities
- Take medical images of patients for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for X-rays and other imaging procedures.
- Operate X-ray technology and other radiologic equipment such as CTs and MRIs.
- Process films for radiologists and physicians.
- Handle patient records and ensure accurate documentation.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent experience as an x-ray technologist.
- ARRT Certification.
- BLS Certification (AHA).
- Current state license (if applicable).
