About the position
Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technician to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, in various healthcare settings. The role involves preparing patients, operating imaging equipment, processing films, and managing patient records. This position offers the opportunity to travel and work in different facilities, enhancing both professional and personal experiences.
Responsibilities
- Take medical images of patients for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for X-rays and other imaging procedures.
- Operate X-ray technology and other radiologic equipment such as CTs and MRIs.
- Process films for radiologists and physicians.
- Handle patient records and ensure accurate documentation.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent experience as an X-ray technologist.
- ARRT Certification.
- BLS Certification (AHA).
- Current state license (if applicable).
