About the position
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist to join their team in Boise, Idaho. This position is designed for healthcare professionals looking to make a positive impact while enjoying the benefits of travel assignments. The role involves providing patient care, collaborating with healthcare teams, and ensuring the smooth operation of radiology services. The ideal candidate will have experience in the field and a commitment to service excellence.
Responsibilities
- Communicates and collaborates with physicians and other health team members.
- Provides and coordinates patient care with other health team members.
- Monitors patients' responses to interventions and reports outcomes.
- Administers medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
- Monitors and evaluates patients before, during, and post-procedure depending on unit.
- Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required.
- Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
- Transports patients as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- One to three years experience as a Technician preferred.
- Other certifications may be required for this position.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
- PC skills.
- Physical ability to remain in a stationary position, move about, and move equipment (50-100lbs), including pushing, pulling, and bending.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a travel position is a plus.
- Additional certifications in radiology or related fields.
