About the position

Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a dedicated and skilled travel Radiology Technologist for a position in Winchester, Massachusetts. This role is designed for an Allied Health Professional specializing in Radiology, with an immediate start date and a contract duration of 19 weeks. The position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, typically structured as 8-hour shifts, although there may be opportunities for 10-hour shifts on certain days. The successful candidate will be working in a community hospital located just north of Boston, which is equipped with advanced imaging technology including four X-Ray units, Siemens Agile MAX - DR Room, and Phillips units. Experience in the operating room with C-ARMS is essential, as the units used are OEC's—9900, 9800, and 9600. Candidates must hold an ARRT-R certification and be able to obtain a Massachusetts state license with relative ease. In this role, the Radiology Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high standards of care. The position also involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-Ray equipment.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment according to safety standards.
  • Document and report imaging results accurately and promptly.

Requirements

  • ARRT-R certification in Radiography.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • State License as a Radiology Technologist in Massachusetts.
  • Experience in operating room settings with C-ARMS.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Siemens and Phillips imaging equipment.
  • Familiarity with EPIC system for patient management.
