About the position

Talent4Health is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a position in Massachusetts. This role is designed for an Allied Health Professional specializing in Radiology, requiring a commitment to an 8-hour day shift, with a total of 40 hours per week over a duration of 13 weeks. The Radiology Technologist will be expected to work rotating weekends, ensuring that patient care is consistent and reliable throughout the week. Candidates must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and hold a valid Massachusetts State License in Radiology. Additionally, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required for this position. Experience with EPIC and PACS systems is essential, as these tools are integral to the workflow in modern healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of hospital experience, which will provide the necessary background to handle the demands of this travel position effectively. It is important to note that candidates who have worked in a permanent or travel capacity for any Beth Israel facility within the past year are not eligible for this position. Furthermore, compliance with health regulations is mandatory; candidates must provide proof of COVID vaccinations and a booster at the time of submission, as well as a flu vaccine. If a candidate does not have the current flu vaccine, an attestation stating they will receive it prior to starting will be accepted.

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiologic procedures as directed by physicians and in accordance with established protocols.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Adhere to all safety and health regulations, including infection control protocols.
  • Assist in the maintenance and operation of radiology equipment.

Requirements

  • Must be ARRT registered and MA State Licensed in Radiology.
  • BLS certification required.
  • 1-2 years of hospital experience required.
  • Experience with EPIC and PACS systems is essential.
