About the position

The Operating Room (OR) Nurse will provide comprehensive care for patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. This role involves educating patients and collaborating with other nursing staff, including circulating and scrub nurses, as well as potentially serving as an RN first assistant or working with the operating room director.

Responsibilities

• Provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care to patients.
• Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures and recovery.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort during surgery.
• Assist in the preparation of the operating room and surgical instruments.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes during surgery.

Requirements

• Current RN License required.
• Entry-level position suitable for new graduates or those with limited experience.
