The Travel Registered Nurse (RN) in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) will provide care for patients who require close monitoring and frequent assessment but do not need intensive care unit (ICU) support. This role involves monitoring vital signs and detecting changes to enable timely interventions in life-threatening situations. The position offers competitive weekly pay based on various factors including experience and location.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' vital signs and health status closely.
• Provide care for patients requiring frequent assessment.
• Detect changes in patients' conditions and respond appropriately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and care plans.

Requirements

• Current RN License in the state of practice.
• Experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting.
• Strong patient monitoring skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with cardiac monitoring.
• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Previous travel nursing experience.
