Responsibilities
- Provide care to expectant mothers during labor and delivery.
- Monitor the health and progress of mothers and infants during labor.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe delivery practices.
- Educate patients and families about the labor and delivery process.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing is essential.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Certification in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB) is preferred.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
