About the position
Vetted Health is seeking Travel Registered Nurses (RNs) specializing in Psychiatric Nursing for 13-week contracts across the nation. This role involves providing care and support to patients with psychiatric disorders, ensuring a safe therapeutic environment, and administering medications as per care plans. Responsibilities
- Provide care and support for patients with psychiatric disorders and mental health challenges.
- Administer medications and treatments according to patient care plans.
- Monitor patient behavior, mood, and response to interventions.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
- Document patient observations, progress, and any incidents accurately.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with specialization in Psychiatric Nursing.
- Valid state nursing license in the state of employment (Vetted can assist with new licenses if needed).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in psychiatric nursing, preferably in a travel role.
- Strong clinical skills in mental health assessment and crisis intervention.
