About the position

The Traveling Superintendent for Hotel Construction is responsible for overseeing and managing on-site construction activities for hotel projects from inception to completion. This role requires collaboration with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to safety and excellence in multifamily construction.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day on-site construction activities for hotel projects
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, materials, and equipment
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety
• Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain project schedules
• Address and resolve on-site issues, conflicts, and challenges
• Maintain accurate and detailed daily reports on project activities
• Ensure projects are completed to the highest quality standards and within budget

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Lead Superintendent in hotel construction
• Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
