About the position
The Surgical Tech - OR position at Prime HealthCare Staffing involves providing surgical assistance in the operating room. The role requires a certified Surgical Tech with at least 2 years of recent experience in the US, focusing on ensuring a smooth surgical process and supporting the surgical team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures in the operating room.
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgeries.
- Ensure all surgical instruments and supplies are ready and available.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to ensure patient safety.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations in the operating room.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Surgical Tech (CST or CSFA).
- At least 2 years of recent experience as a Surgical Tech in the US.
- Current BLS certification (AHA preferred).
- Ability to provide professional references.
- Must complete a drug screen and background check.
