About the position
Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist to assist in surgical operations in Mauston, Wisconsin. This role involves preparing the operating room, assisting surgeons and nurses, maintaining sterile conditions, and providing support to patients and families. Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room and surgical tools before procedures.
- Assist nurses and surgeons in scrubbing in for surgery.
- Maintain sterile conditions during surgical operations.
- Assist with tools and equipment during surgery.
- Clean the operating room after surgeries.
- Transport patients to and from the surgery area.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute Surgical Technologist experience.
- Nationally Certified in Surgical Technology (NBSTSA).
- BLS Certification.
Nice-to-haves
- Trauma experience preferred, not required.
- Travel experience preferred, not required.
