About the position

FlexCare Surgery is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist to provide essential support in surgical settings. This role involves working in various healthcare facilities, ensuring that surgical procedures are conducted smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field.
• Handle surgical instruments and supplies during operations.
• Ensure the operating room is properly equipped and organized before, during, and after surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of surgical supplies and equipment.

Requirements

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist from an accredited program.
• Experience in a surgical setting, preferably in a travel capacity.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to varying schedules.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous travel experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• Knowledge of various surgical procedures and protocols.
• BLS certification.
