This position is for a 13-week contract at a state-of-the-art hospital in Winchester, Virginia, with a focus on providing a supportive and positive work environment for healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgeries.
• Handle surgical instruments and supplies effectively.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.

Requirements

• Current National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) Certification.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) as a potential requirement depending on location.
• Experience in surgical technology and operating room procedures.
