About the position
Sharp Nursing Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist to provide support in surgical settings in Mauston, Wisconsin. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, and requires a strong background in surgical technology.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field.
- Handle surgical instruments and supplies during operations.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to ensure patient safety and care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the operating room before, during, and after procedures.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.
Requirements
- Current Wisconsin license as a Surgical Technologist.
- At least 5 years of overall experience in surgical technology or at least 3 years of recent experience as a CST.
- Previous travel experience is strongly preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in various surgical specialties.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST).
