About the position
Westat is seeking part-time to full-time travel survey data processors to assist with state and national household travel surveys. The role involves reviewing survey response data for quality assurance and correcting data related to location, travel time, and travel mode using web-based tools.
Responsibilities
- Review survey response data using the survey management website.
- Make decisions regarding survey data quality based on a hierarchical rule set.
- Utilize a Google Maps-based web interface to correct issues with location, travel time, and travel mode data.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience and interest in data collection, processing, and data quality analysis.
- High comfort level using web-based mapping interfaces such as Google Maps.
- High school diploma and some college courses are required.
Nice-to-haves
- Strong working memory and attention to detail.
- Analytical (logic) skills preferred.
- Fluency with computers and ability to navigate multiple browser tabs and windows quickly.
