About the position

As an echo ultrasonographer, also known as an echocardiographer or cardiac sonographer, you will play a crucial role in the healthcare system by using echocardiograms to capture detailed images of patients' hearts. This position is primarily based in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, outpatient centers, private practices, and imaging centers. Your responsibilities will include preparing patients for echocardiograms, operating specialized ultrasound equipment, processing images for review by radiologists and physicians, and managing patient records to ensure accurate documentation and continuity of care. Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for echocardiograms by explaining the procedure and ensuring their comfort.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to echocardiograms.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of recent experience in a relevant setting and specialty.
  • ARMDS or CCI National Certification is required.
  • BLS Certification (AHA) is mandatory.
  • Current state license (if applicable) is necessary.
