Pay $32 - $36 an hour Job type Contract Shift and schedule On call Location Atlanta, GA Full job description Job Description: Traveling Biomedical Equip Technician II (Contract) - Atlanta, GA Job Summary $32.00- $36.00 Hourly The Traveling Biomedical Equip Technician II (Contract) will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for biomedical equipment at various healthcare facilities in Atlanta, GA and surrounding areas. This is a contract position that requires extensive travel. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on a wide range of biomedical equipment, including but not limited to patient monitors, defibrillators, infusion pumps, and ventilators. Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and provide timely and effective solutions. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards, including but not limited to FDA, OSHA, and Joint Commission. Maintain accurate and complete records of all work performed, including service reports, inventory, and equipment history. Communicate effectively with customers and team members, providing technical support and training as needed. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency service requests in a timely manner. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety and quality standards. Qualifications Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair. Strong knowledge of electronics, mechanical systems, and computer technology. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively. Ability to lift and move heavy equipment, up to 50 pounds. Must be Authorized to work in the United States. Must pass background and drug screen.
