About the position
The Traveling Building Maintenance Technician role involves extensive travel to various company locations for maintenance tasks. The position is full-time and offers a structured schedule of 9 days of travel followed by 5 days off. The technician will be responsible for maintaining various facilities and equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance on offices, docks/warehouses, mechanic shops, fuel islands, and related stations.
- Maintain overhead doors, dock plates, lighting, and electrical systems.
- Conduct light concrete work and light plumbing repairs including fixtures and lines.
- Handle drywall, painting, and metal siding tasks as needed.
- Utilize company-provided service vehicle and large tools/equipment for maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electric (3 phase), plumbing, welding, and carpentry trades.
- Possess own hand tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers.
- Good Motor Vehicle Record with no driving restrictions.
