About the position

Cascade Environmental, LLC is seeking skilled individuals to operate drill rigs and drilling equipment proficiently. The position involves maintaining daily drilling reports, ensuring equipment safety, and leading a drilling crew while promoting a safe working environment. Employees will also be responsible for maintaining certifications, completing well logs, and fostering positive relationships with team members and clients. The role requires physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and may involve travel to various project locations across the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Operate drill rigs and drilling equipment with high proficiency
  • Maintain daily drilling reports
  • Ensure equipment is in safe working condition and conduct routine and preventative maintenance
  • Lead a drilling crew by training and mentoring employees and maintaining a safe environment
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MSDS, CEU's and JSA's
  • Approve employee timesheets
  • Complete well logs, logbook, repair orders, tailgates, and Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
  • Promote positive and professional relationships with team members and clients
  • Maintain all required certifications
  • Safely lift up to 50 pounds
  • Complete other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements

  • CDL Class A and State Driller License is preferred
  • 3+ years' experience in the drilling industry, with at least one (1) year of experience operating a variety of rigs (i.e. sonic, rotary, auger)
  • Negative drug test
  • Satisfactory results of a background check
  • Possessing a valid Driver's License for the state of residence
  • Obtaining and maintaining an interstate DOT Medical Card
  • Passing a HAZWOPER physical
  • Verifying legal right to work in the United States under the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA)
