About the position
The Traveling Electrical Project Manager at Actalent is responsible for overseeing the commissioning of data center facilities, ensuring that all electrical and mechanical systems meet design specifications and performance requirements. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, managing project timelines, and maintaining documentation throughout the commissioning process. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients and is tasked with ensuring quality assurance and effective communication during project execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of the EC commissioning plan, outlining scope, schedule, resources, and procedures.
- Coordinate commissioning activities with project stakeholders to align with milestones and deadlines.
- Oversee functional and performance tests on critical infrastructure components.
- Maintain accurate records of commissioning activities, including test procedures and results.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with commissioning activities.
- Enforce quality standards throughout the commissioning process.
- Provide regular updates to clients on commissioning progress and issues.
- Schedule and coordinate training sessions for data center operations staff.
- Ensure a smooth handover of the facility to the client upon completion of commissioning activities.
- Perform daily reports on-site and communicate professionally.

- Mid-level electrical experience
- Mechanical knowledge
- Experience in electrical and/or mechanical commissioning
