About the position

The Traveling Electrical Project Manager will oversee commissioning activities at data center sites, ensuring that electrical and mechanical systems are tested, verified, and meet design specifications. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, documentation of commissioning processes, and communication with clients to ensure successful project execution and handover.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the EC commissioning plan, outlining scope, schedule, resources, and procedures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including design engineers, construction teams, and facility operators.
• Coordinate commissioning activities with project stakeholders to align with milestones and deadlines.
• Oversee execution of functional and performance tests on critical infrastructure components.
• Ensure systems meet design specifications and performance requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of commissioning activities, including test procedures and results.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with commissioning activities.
• Develop contingency plans and escalation procedures for unforeseen challenges.
• Enforce quality standards throughout the commissioning process.
• Provide regular updates to clients on commissioning progress and issues.
• Schedule and coordinate training sessions for data center operations staff.
• Ensure smooth handover of the facility to the client upon completion of commissioning activities.
• Perform daily reports on-site and communicate professionally.

Requirements

• Electrical and/or Mechanical commissioning experience is required.
• Experience in project management and coordination.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with data center infrastructure and operations.
• Familiarity with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
