About the position
The Traveling Electrical Project Manager role involves overseeing electrical construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The position requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical construction and be willing to travel for project management duties.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to ensure quality project delivery.
- Manage financial aspects of the project from bid through final report.
- Lead, attend, and schedule meetings with customers.
- Participate in walk-throughs with Account Executives, Operations Managers, and Estimators.
- Develop and build strong teams for each project while delivering quality output.
- Responsible for initiating, billing, and closing job change orders.
- Adjust priorities and milestones based on changing customer needs and job requirements.
- Promote and enforce a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Experience in electrical construction as an Electrical Project Manager.
- Strong computer and leadership skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational skills.
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Journeyman or Master Electrician's license.
