This position is for a Traveling Field Service Engineer, where you will be responsible for various technical tasks related to semiconductor equipment maintenance and installation. The role requires a commitment to safety and adherence to customer protocols, ensuring that all procedures are followed meticulously. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, engaging with different stakeholders and adapting to changing conditions while driving continuous improvement and success. The principal duties and responsibilities of the Traveling Field Service Engineer include performing chamber wet cleans, removing chamber kits and fore lines, and safely purging both gas and liquid lines. You will be responsible for pump purging of gas lines, flushing drains, and blowing out residual liquids. Additionally, you must disconnect and cap all gas and liquid lines, perform complete tool shutdowns, and power off all systems and related subcomponents. Daily pre-task planning with customers is essential, as is documenting all decontamination activities and reporting the status of decontamination projects. Following all customer safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, is crucial to ensure a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform chamber wet cleans.
  • Remove chamber kits and fore lines.
  • Safely purge both gas and liquid lines.
  • Pump purge gas lines.
  • Flush drains and blow out residual liquids.
  • Disconnect and cap all gas and liquid lines.
  • Perform complete tool shutdowns.
  • Power off all systems and related subcomponents.
  • Follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and customer procedures.
  • Conduct daily pre-task planning with customers.
  • Document all decontamination activities using a decontamination checklist.
  • Report the status of decontamination projects.
  • Adhere to all customer safety protocols, including LOTO and PPE.

Requirements

  • Must have knowledge of Decontamination/Installation/Deinstallation on OEM equipment.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of OEM direct experience on one or more of the following: Wet Etch (TEL CELLESTA, DNS SU3800 & SU3000), Metals (LAM Vector, AMAT Endura 5500), Dry Etch (TEL SCCM & BX PLATFORM, LAM 2300), CMP (AMAT REFLEXION DESI & RD).
