About the position

The General Laborer performs a variety of manual construction work such as digging by hand, lifting, holding, pushing, and other duties necessary to install various utilities in a safe and efficient manner in the power, telecom, and water and sewer markets. This role is crucial for maintaining the cleanliness of the job site, performing general maintenance on equipment, and loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment. The position requires the ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions and involves physical activities such as walking, sitting, standing, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting as needed. The General Laborer must also coordinate their movements effectively to perform skilled tasks and is expected to travel and be away from home for extended periods, as the job is 100% field-based. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License; Class A CDL preferred.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
  • Experience working with hand tools, such as shovels and rakes.

  • Ability to read, comprehend, and carry out instructions.
