About the position
Cascade Environmental, LLC is seeking skilled individuals to operate drill rigs and drilling equipment with high proficiency. The position involves maintaining daily drilling reports, ensuring equipment is in safe working condition through routine inspections, and leading, training, and mentoring a drilling crew. The role also requires maintaining a safe work environment, knowledge of MSDS, CEUs, and JSAs, and completing various documentation such as well logs and Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports. Employees are expected to promote positive relationships with team members and clients while maintaining all required certifications. Physical demands include the ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and complete other assigned duties and projects.
Responsibilities
- Operate drill rigs and drilling equipment with high proficiency
- Maintain daily drilling reports
- Ensure equipment is in safe working condition by conducting routine and preventative inspections
- Lead, train, and mentor a drilling crew
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Knowledge and utilization of MSDS, CEU's and JSA's, as required
- Approve employee timesheets
- Complete well logs, logbook, repair orders, tailgates, and Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
- Promote positive and professional relationships with team members and clients
- Maintain all required certifications
- Safely lift up to 50 pounds
- Complete other duties and projects, as assigned
Requirements
- CDL Class A and State Driller License is a plus
- 3+ years' experience in the drilling industry, with at least one (1) year of experience operating a variety of rigs (i.e. sonic, rotary, auger)
- Negative drug test
- Satisfactory results of a background check (and your authorization to conduct a routine background check)
- Possessing a valid Driver's License for the state in which you reside and satisfactory results of a Motor Vehicle Report
- Obtaining and maintaining an interstate DOT Medical Card and meeting all Federal Interstate FMCSA requirements to operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle
- Passing a HAZWOPER physical
- Verifying your legal right to work in the United States under the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA)
