About the position
C&W Meter is hiring for Traveling Measurement Technicians. This is a full-time role and comes with a comprehensive benefits package including a $2000 sign-on bonus, comprehensive medical/dental insurance (family included), vacation, 401K retirement plan, life insurance, short-term disability, and AD&D. The starting pay is $22 per hour, with additional starting pay offered for candidates with CDL A or B license. The position also includes per diem pay, company-provided safety gear, work shirts, etc. The work schedule is a regular 40-hour work week with overtime opportunities.
Responsibilities
- No prior experience in meter calibration required. On-the-job training will be provided.
- Prioritize and promote a safety-first culture, adhering to company expectations.
- Safely operate company service trucks and trailers, complying with DOT/HOS regulations.
- Perform hook-up and break down of proving equipment in the field.
- Maintain accurate DOT digital driving logs; manage required safety training certificates.
- Collaborate with the team for seamless operations.
- Execute precise meter proving sessions under supervision.
- Engage professionally with customers, ensuring site setup and coordination.
- Perform routine vehicle, prover, or shop maintenance duties.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
