About the position
Upstate Construction and Development Services is seeking Fixture Installation / Merchandising candidates for various projects across the nation. This full-time position involves overnight travel to multiple retail locations, focusing on store remodels, merchandising, and fixture installation. Candidates will work in teams to ensure compliance with safety standards and effectively arrange products according to blueprints and plan-o-grams.
Responsibilities
- Travel to multiple retail locations throughout the US for store remodels and resets.
- Ensure compliance with all safety program requirements.
- Arrange and place products on shelves according to blueprints and plan-o-grams.
- Install fixtures such as pallet racking and gondolas.
- Dismantle, assemble, and place a variety of retail fixtures.
Requirements
- Experience in store remodels, resets, merchandising, and fixture installation.
- Ability to work with crews during resets/remodels while meeting time expectations and maintaining quality and safety.
- Valid driver's license.
- Knowledge of and ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Willingness to travel to any US work location.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends and be out of town for extended periods.
Nice-to-haves
- Prior construction experience.
- Experience with home improvement stores, big box retail, pharmacy, planograms, national rollouts, remodels, gondolas, and new stores.
- Experience with national racking standards.
- Deep understanding of merchandising.
