About the position

The Traveling Site Superintendent for Industrial Outdoor Storage at Greenfield Commercial Real Estate is responsible for overseeing and managing various outdoor storage projects across the country. This role involves supervising the entire project lifecycle, ensuring safety, quality standards, and timely completion while traveling extensively to different project sites. The ideal candidate will have a passion for construction management and enjoy working outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site activities from start to finish, including supervising subcontractors and ensuring project timelines are met.
• Directly manage site operations with a focus on leadership and coordination rather than hands-on work.
• Travel 100% of the time to project sites, working on-site and supervising multiple projects in different locations.
• Ensure all materials and resources are delivered and utilized effectively to maintain workflow and progress.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations on site, keeping the project site safe for all personnel.
• Quickly resolve issues and adjust project plans when necessary to avoid delays.
• Regularly update the project management team on site progress, challenges, and milestones.
• Complete and submit daily site reports, documenting the progress and any issues that may arise.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Superintendent, preferably in outdoor or industrial storage projects.
• Ability to travel for extended periods, working on-site 100% of the time.
• Comfortable working in outdoor environments, exposed to seasonal weather conditions.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on driving projects to completion efficiently.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check is required.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to manage on-site challenges effectively.
