About the position
The Travelling Field Merchandiser at 84 Lumber Company is responsible for the effective presentation and merchandising of products in-store. This role focuses on creating visually appealing displays that attract customers and drive sales, ensuring that all products are stocked and presented according to store layouts and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Set and stock all gondolas in showroom per store layout.
- Set racks in back warehouse and stock per layout.
- Price all product.
- Set all displays per layout.
- Hang aisle markers, signage, and banners.
- Send back extra gondola and racking parts to building.
- Refinish floor as needed.
- Check in all merchandise upon its arrival.
Requirements
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, financial reports and legal documents.
- Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.
- Write speeches and articles for publication that conform to a prescribed style and format.
