About the position
The Treasury Analyst position at Toyota Industries Commercial Finance (TICF) involves supporting the Treasury Operations group by managing banking activities, cash management, transaction processing, and debt settlement confirmations. The role is crucial for maintaining the Treasury Management Systems and ensuring efficient cash flow and financial operations within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily cash positioning, forecast, transaction processing, bank file interface, reconciliation, and reporting activities within Treasury Management System (TMS).
- Maintain external debt, derivatives, and inter-company loan instruments including cash settlements and internal & external reporting.
- Interact with internal customers to respond to inquiries and resolve issues related to transaction processing.
- Complete month-end processes for debt, derivatives, and inter-company loans, including mark-to-market calculations and accrual postings.
- Assist with leading G-Treasury TMS administration, maintenance, and enhancement.
- Assist with audits by compiling necessary documentation as per audit requests.
- Support operational process improvement opportunities for TICF.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Treasury Management systems and bank portals (e.g., CashPro, JPMorgan Access, SAP, GTreasury).
- 2-4 years of professional experience in Treasury, Finance, Cash Management, or Accounting.
- Understanding of Cash Management operations.
- Experience in establishing effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred.
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent is a plus.
- Solid experience with Treasury workstations and/or systems projects is a plus.
