About the position

The Treasury Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Vice President of Treasury in the daily treasury operations of the company. This position is based in Denver, Colorado, and offers a salary range of $65,000 to $75,000 per year. The Treasury Analyst will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are essential for effective cash management and financial operations. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple responsibilities while ensuring compliance with financial protocols and maintaining strong relationships with lenders and other departments. Key responsibilities include uploading positive pay issuances to various banking platforms, checking daily cash balances, and submitting reimbursements for furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) to lenders. The analyst will also be tasked with entering ACH and wire payments, reviewing monthly analysis fees, and proposing investment strategies for excess cash in savings and certificates of deposit (CDs). Additionally, the role involves reconciling treasury-related general ledger accounts, overseeing daily management of cash and debt payments, and ensuring timely tracking and payment of hotel mortgage loans. The Treasury Analyst will also be responsible for maintaining appropriate reserve accounts and adhering to various contractual requirements associated with loan documents and operating accounts. This position requires effective communication with lenders regarding cash management, transfers, payments, and associated fees and deposit rates. The analyst will propose distributions and capital calls, carry out daily bank controls to ensure accurate debiting of payments, and assist in cash position management and monthly cash flow forecasting. Collaboration with both Corporate Accounting and Hotel Accounting is essential to meet banking needs, including wire and ACH payment processing. The role also involves establishing and implementing protocols to track compliance and working directly with the Chief Accounting Officer on ad hoc projects as needed.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in treasury or finance roles.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
