About the position

The Treasury Client Services (TCS) Onboarding Specialist EDGE Program at OceanFirst Bank is designed to provide exceptional customer service and support for Treasury Management products and services. This role involves engaging with clients to facilitate onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition and effective communication throughout the customer journey.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and receive external contacts from customers regarding Treasury Management products and services.
  • Maintain frequent contact with all levels of organization and branch personnel.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support during the onboarding process.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and issues.
  • Conduct Internet research to assist customers effectively.
  • Navigate multiple computer applications while communicating with customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or related field required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a professional environment with direct customer contact is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and high degree of computer literacy.
  • Detail-oriented with solid analytical skills and strong organizational skills.
