About the position

At Grow Financial Federal Credit Union, we are dedicated to providing exceptional service to our members and communities. As a Financial Analyst intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our cash management operations. This position is designed for students currently enrolled in a degree program related to Business, Economics, Accounting, or Finance. You will learn to perform analytical activities related to cash operations and transactions, including ATM, Credit and Debit Card, and ACH transaction activities. Your ability to work with large datasets across multiple systems will be essential, as you will synthesize this information into actionable insights that support our operational goals. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will frequently work with various departments within the credit union. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry while contributing to a team that values service over profit. The internship is set to begin in January 2025, and you will have the flexibility to work remotely or from our headquarters in Tampa, FL, or any of our retail locations. Responsibilities

  • Support analytical activities related to cash operations and transactions.
  • Assist with ATM, Credit and Debit Card, and ACH transaction activities.
  • Work with large amounts of data in multiple systems and synthesize it into actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with other areas of the credit union to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a student with a degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Finance from an accredited college or university.
  • Successful completion of an analytics course required.
  • Prior experience in an ATMs, cards and/or deposit products analyst role is highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with credit union personnel.
  • Ability to work independently.
