About the position

The Treasury Management Sales Analyst (TMA) at Umpqua Bank plays a crucial role in supporting Treasury Management Sales Consultants (TMC) by assisting with sales-related activities within Community & Business Banking and Middle Market portfolios. This position involves preparing customized sales proposals, managing service agreements, and collaborating with various teams to ensure successful implementation of treasury management solutions. The TMA is also responsible for post-sale activities, client follow-ups, and maintaining compliance with bank regulations, all while embodying the bank's core values.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Treasury Management Sales Consultant(s) to assist with sales-related activities.
  • Prepare customized sales proposals, account schematics, and proformas.
  • Execute and manage treasury management service agreements and client-facing documentation.
  • Collaborate with TMC, technical consultants, and relationship teams for Treasury Management Relationship Reviews and RFPs.
  • Own post-sale activities including implementation of treasury solutions and CRM system input.
  • Identify and cross-sell treasury management solutions through needs analysis.
  • Follow up on sales referrals and resolve client issues promptly.
  • Lead post-implementation client review processes and report status to TMC.
  • Assist with annual re-pricing initiatives and ensure exception pricing for client accounts.
  • Schedule and lead team meetings with assigned TMC(s) and other specialists.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or general business preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Treasury Management Sales or Sales Support required.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Treasury Management pre-sale/post-sale processes and products.
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial banking products, risk mitigation, and applicable laws.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with professionals at all levels.
  • Strong customer service, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook, and virtual technology tools.
