About the position

The Treasury Management Sales Associate (TMSA) plays a vital role in supporting First United Bank's Treasury Management services by ensuring that both new and existing customers receive exceptional service and tailored financial solutions. This position involves collaborating with Treasury Management Officers to prepare sales materials, manage client communications, and support the sales process, all while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation of client presentation documents, pricing proposals, relationship reviews or pitch books
  • Collaborate with Treasury Management Officer throughout the sales process for pipeline status updates, new pricing proposals, and creation of presentations
  • Attend sales, relationship reviews, and implementation meetings as requested
  • Communicate with clients and prospects to clarify sales requests, referrals, or setup questions
  • Prescreen Treasury Management referrals and direct according to proven process and alignment of services
  • Post enrollment, ensure services, pricing, and billing are accurate
  • Attend meetings and training as required to enhance knowledge of Treasury Management products, processes, and technologies
  • Provide support with calling efforts to inform TM clients of important information
  • Gather necessary information for implementation of services and submit to implementation for processing
  • Complete special projects as requested

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Five years of bank customer service experience required
  • Three to five years of Treasury Management experience required
  • Sales experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Proficient in Salesforce
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Strong sense of customer service and attentiveness to customer needs
  • Demonstrates dependability through good attendance and adherence to timelines
