About the position

The position is responsible for the sales, marketing, and support of WesBanco's Treasury Management products and services. The role involves working closely with the Commercial Lender teams to ensure the delivery of treasury products to larger, more complex business customers and prospects. The individual will analyze the profitability of new business opportunities and manage relationships with both internal and external clients, with internal clients serving as primary lead sources. The role requires reliance on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, along with providing timely and accurate reporting of required sales and business development reports.

Responsibilities

  • Contact prospective commercial customers to develop new treasury management business.
  • Meet periodically via phone, online meetings, or on-site with existing and prospective customers to ensure proper servicing of accounts and to expand existing business relationships.
  • Prepare sales presentations, explain services offered, and recommend those services which would be of value to the customer.
  • Meet assigned goals for fee income or deposit generation as established annually.
  • Ensure other company officers are aware of the company's treasury management sales activities and assist in promoting the company's treasury management sales program.
  • Assist in the design and proper installation of treasury management services.
  • Assist management in the development of new services, modification of existing services, development of marketing strategy, and establishment of sales objectives.
  • Work with TM support team to ensure accurate and proper billing through account analysis system.
  • Establish proper legal documentation for all Treasury Management products.
  • Assist in training and developing all commercial team members on Treasury Management products and pricing, in conjunction with Treasury Management Support and Onboarding.
  • Resolve complex customer issues and communicate with clients and/or the appropriate commercial banking professionals.
  • Ensure the safety and soundness of TM functions or customer activity based upon the bank's risk management policy and procedures.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adherence to all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers to establish and maintain effective relationships.
  • Clear, concise, effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization, including senior management and other departments.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
  • Professional demeanor in appearance, interpersonal relations, work ethic, and attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to identify, define, analyze, and solve problems.
