About the position

The Treasury Management Sales Officer at Webster Bank is responsible for generating new business and developing existing treasury management and depository relationships within the Commercial Bank. This role involves working closely with market bankers to align strategies for Treasury Management products, ensuring client satisfaction and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and in partnership with market bankers to develop new profitable business from prospective clients.
• Meet periodically with targeted clients to ensure proper servicing of accounts and expand existing business relationships.
• Develop territory plans, account strategies, and call plans to achieve revenue goals.
• Maintain senior level contact with top clients, including Treasurers and CFOs.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to represent client perspectives in product development.
• Stay current on industry knowledge and competitor offerings, providing feedback to ensure competitiveness.
• Coordinate activities of marketing, operations, and support personnel for timely delivery of Treasury Management products.
• Prepare sales reports and compliance documentation as required.
• Educate and advise bankers on new Treasury Management product initiatives.
• Participate in marketing activities for trade shows and industry events.
• Ensure client service deliverables are met and manage issues and escalations effectively.
• Adhere to compliance procedures and internal risk controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• At least 4 years of financial services experience.
• At least 4 years of treasury management sales experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Treasury Management Services and deposit products.
• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or equivalent desired.
